Created by the Lomonosov imperial porcelain factory in St. Petersburg, Russia, this beautiful monkey alludes to the famous Monkey and the Peach folk tale.Founded in 1744 by decree of Empress Elisabeth (Peter the Great's daughter), the factory was the first and oldest of its kind in Russia. Throughout its history, the factory has made essential contributions to world culture.
The figurine received the Lomonosove Procelain Factory's "LFZ" mark on its bottom.
